CCAF General Education Mobile (GEM) at Western

GEM Logo±¬ÁÏ³Ô¹Ï is proud to partner with the Community College of the Air Force and Space Force to help Airmen and Guardians complete their CCAF Degree's General Education requirements.

Participating in the General Education Mobile (GEM) enables students to complete up to 15 credits at Western that transfer toward theÌýgeneral education requirements of their CCAF degree providing greater educational continuity and faster completion of an Airman's or Guardian’s associates degree.

Airmen and Guardians must develop a CCAF education goal in theÌý (AFVEC) and request Tuition Assistance (TA).Ìý

  • Course length varies depending on course selected. Courses are offered in multiple modalitiesÌý(online, compressed, hybrid, and in-person). Western is a trimester college with three 15-week semesters a year. Courses can be taken as a 15-week semester course or in a 7-week session within the semester.
